Dave , Jean, & J.D. Wacker are often referred to as “The Family of Professional Photography" at workshops and conventions across the country.

The title of "Family" surpasses all the other titles, and they have many professional titles, in importance to the Wackers. This feeling of sharing their talents with their extended family of all professional photography brings them to many conventions, workshops and lab seminars.

As Kodak Professional Mentors, they are available to instruct thousands of professional photographers worldwide. The family is also the author of several photographic books. As international qualified PPA print jurors they keep on the cutting edge of what is new in the photographic world.

“The Family” conducts personal 3-4 day workshop each year and teach at PPA affiliate schools. This allows everyone to learn directly from “Tthe Family” in a hands-on environment.

So, we reserve a few dates each year to share our knowledge at professional photography conventions, seminars, schools, and hands-on workshops. Also, we have several educational items available which have proven to be very useful resources for studios world-wide.

Educational Materials: From marketing and sales, to image capture, to workflow, to retouching and enhancement, to image output, we do it at our studio and we can share what has worked (and what hasn't) for us. All of our educational materials were developed via necessity. We don't waste time showing techniques that we don't actually use and have no real-world application. Our "Wackers' Digital Cookbook and CDTM " has become the desk reference of professional photographers, photographic artists, and photo labs throughout the world. J.D.'s book, "The Master Posing Guide for Professional Photographers" was an Amazon Best Selling Portraiture Book.
